TNPSC Group 4 2021 – Exam Notification | TNPSC Group Exam Details

The TNPSC Group 4 2021 exam is one of the major exams conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).

The group 4 examination is conducted annually by TNPSC to select the following posts.

• Village Administrative Officer (VAO)
• Junior Assistant
• Bill Collector
• Field Surveyor
• Draftsman
• Typist & Steno-Typist

Group 4 Exam Date – TNPSC Group 4                                    

But, it is questionable when the examination will be held.

We predict that the exam will be held by the end of this year 2021.

Qualification

You can only write if you meet two qualifications for this exam. They are,

• Educational Qualification
• Age Limit [Minimum & Maximum Age]

Educational Qualification

• You can write this exam if you have completed at least 10th Class/SSLC.

Age Limit

• 18 to 30 for those who have completed only 10th class in terms of age.
• 18 to 58 for those who have studied above 10th class, 12th, Diploma, Degree and etc.

Group IV Selection Method

Applicants who have to apply for these exams are selected only through written examination.

Those who pass the written test are certified and assigned to the job through counseling.

Syllabus

1. General Studies: The general knowledge area consists of several subdivisions i.e. General Science, Current Events, Geography, History, Aptitude, etc.

2. General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

3. Current Events: History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, and Science.

4. Geography: Earth and Universe-Solar system-Monsoon, rainfall, weather & climate, Water resources-rivers in India-Soil, minerals & natural resources-Forest & wildlife-Agricultural pattern&, etc.

5. History and Culture of India and Tamil Nadu: Indus valley civilization-Guptas, Delhi Sultans, Mughals, and Marathas-Age of Vijayanagaramand the brahmans.

South Indian history-Culture and Heritage of Tamil people-India &, etc.

6. Indian Polity: Constitution of India- Preamble to the constitution- Salient features of constitution- Union, state and territory- Citizenship.

Rights amend duties, Fundamental rights- Fundamental duties- Human rights charter- Union legislature – Parliament- State executive- State Legislature – assembly- Local government – panchayat raj &, etc.

7. Indian Economy: Nature of Indian economy- Five-year plan models- an assessment – Land reforms & agriculture application of science in agriculture-Industrial growth & etc.

8. Indian National Movement: National renaissance – Emergence of national leaders – Gandhi, Nehru, Tagore – Different modes of agitations-Role of Tamil Nadu in freedom struggle Rajaji, VOC, Periyar, Bharathiar & others.

9. Aptitude & Mental Ability Tests: Conversion of information to data-Collection, compilation, and presentation of data – Tables, graphs, diagrams -Analytical interpretation of data.

Simplification-Percentage-Highest Common Factor (HCF)-Lowest Common Multiple (LCM) Ratio and Proportion.

Simple interest-Compound interest-Area-Volume-Time and Work & Logical reasoning
