TNPSC Group 4 new announcement 2022. The Tamil Nadu government has issued an order that requires you to qualify for a Tamil exam for all government positions held by various recruitment agencies.

For positions in Group I and II, IIA, the Tamil qualification test is carried out in conjunction with the main written test. The essay assesses the candidate’s ability to translate, understand the meaning, and writing of letters and essays. The candidates must reach 40 points out of 100 for this exam.
For Group III and IV positions that include a one-tier exam, General Tamil is required and the General English option will be removed.
Candidates need to appear for the Tamil Eligibility cum Scoring Test for 150 marks along with general studies, aptitude, and mental ability papers which will be conducted for 150 marks. Only if candidates score 40% marks in the Tamil Eligibility cum Scoring Test, the other paper will be evaluated.
The grades obtained in both papers are included in the ranking list.
For other one-tier exams, candidates must also pass the Tamil exam for their answer sheets to be graded.
For the Teacher Recruitment Board, the Medical Services Recruitment Board, the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, and the Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee, the departments involved issue separate orders for the implementation of Tamil qualification exams.
