The decision on the proficiency tests for teachers is issued by the authority that conducts the respective test. The CTET message is issued by the CBSE, the UPTET message is issued by the UP government, the HP-TET message is issued by HPBOSE, the REET or RTET message is issued by BSER, and the same for other TET states.

How to Apply for Exam?

To take the exam, candidates must apply online or offline by completing the application form. Only candidates who correctly submit the application form can take part in the exams.

The CBSE publishes the CTET application form and the respective state governments or examination authorities publish the application form.

The examination centers stipulate the application fee, which must be paid separately for each position.

Documents Required for Exam 2021

To register for the exam, candidates will need the following documents:

  • Class 12 passing certificate
  • Diploma in Education or B.Ed. passing certificate
  • Valid Photo ID Proof
  • Passport size photograph
  • Category or Caste certificate, if any
  • Disability certificate, if any

Eligibility criteria

To apply for 2021, candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria, including educational attainment and age limit. The eligibility criteria for differ from state to state.

The basic criteria that candidates must meet to be accepted for a remain the same. The basic admission criteria are:

  • Candidates must have passed grade 12 or have a degree from a recognized university with at least 45 percent grades.

  • There is no upper age limit for CTET and various TET exams
