PM is to Hand Over 70,000 Appointment Letters to New Recruits on Tuesday in Rozgar Mela. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be handing out 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruited staff on Tuesday, June 13.

The letters will be distributed as part of the government’s Rozgar Mela initiative. This event will take place at 43 locations across the country and the Prime Minister will address the appointees on the occasion.

About Rozgar Mela

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritize employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst towards further employment opportunities. And provide meaningful opportunities for the youth’s empowerment and participation in national development.

Those selected from across the country will be joining various government departments. Such as the Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts, Department of Atomic Energy and Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.

Karmayogi Prarambh

In addition to providing appointment letters, those newly inducted appointees will also be given an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal. This module provides more than 400 e-learning courses for the ‘anywhere any device’ learning format.
